MaxiForce HD Removable Bollards

offer the highest level of protection in a manual removable bollard that MaxiForce has to offer. The HD line of bollards has been engineered to minimize steel usage and keep the units as light as possible requiring only 8" of lifting for most units (higher rated units require 18" of lifting).

All MaxiForce Heavy Duty Removable Bollards are padlock-able for securing them in place. The HD units make a perfect complement to our Fixed line of bollards when sporadic and temporary access is required in a protected perimeter.

All heavy duty removable bollards are offered with two different base types, the Heavy Duty (HD) Base and the Heavy Duty Hinge Top (HDH) Base. The HD Base is a simple model that comes with a cover plate that can be manually placed over the hole and secured in place with two screws when the bollard is not in use. The HDH base has a hinge top stainless steel cover that is used to padlock the bollard in place. When the bollard is removed, the hinge top can be closed like a lid to cover the hole. If the stainless steel hinge plate is ever damaged, its unique design allows for it to be easily removed and replaced without the use of any tools.

MaxiForce Heavy Duty Removable Bollards and their associated footings have been engineered to meet all of today's most commonly used impact and crash ratings. This includes bollards that will meet International Building Code (IBC) Section 1607.7.3, Florida Building Code (FBC) Section 1618.5.3 (and other hurricane zones); American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Section 2.7, Department of State (DOS) SD-STD-02.01 Vehicle Crash Standard (K4 through K12; L1.0, L2.0 & L3.0) and ASTM F2656-07 Vehicle Crash Standard (C40/C50/C60 & M30/M40/M50; both with P1-P4 ratings).
