offer a light weight alternative to other bollard solutions in the MaxiForce product line and in the bollard marketplace. The MaxiForce Light Bollards, while offering less physical impact resistance, look nearly identical to other heavier duty solutions on the market and as our high protection HD Removable Bollards. With models starting at just 40 pounds and requiring no more than 8" of lifting to remove, the MaxiForce Light Removable line of bollards should be your preferred choice if easy, light weight and quick removal of bollards has higher importance than actual physical stopping power.

The various models of MaxiForce Light Removable Bollards offered include a unique 3" by 6" rectangular style bollard and a 5" round bollard design; both of which have multiple head styles to choose from.

There are two models to choose from; a unique patented fire hydrant wrench operated unit (also used in our Collapsible Bollards) and a padlock secured unit. The wrench operated units are easily operated by using an AWWA standard fire hydrant wrench. This is the same wrench that is used around the world to operate fire hydrants.  The wrench operation also offers a unique alternative for end users to remove the bollard without having to deal with a key or a padlock or the issues associated with losing a key or a lock. The wrench operated unit is also preferred for applications where life safety concerns are an issue. Nearly all first responders (police, fire and ambulance) carry fire hydrant wrenches as standard equipment. The padlock operated MaxiForce Light Removable Bollards utilize a locking tab that is located at the bottom of the bollard and a locking slot in the in-ground base, both of which engage the shackle of a padlock to secure the bollard body to the base (padlocks are end user supplied).

The MaxiForce Light Weight Removable Bollards need no maintenance and are fabricated from steel. When a bollard is removed, there is no tripping hazard as all base types available for the MaxiForce Light Weight Removable Bollards have a flush mounted surface. This makes it a perfect fit for bike trails, sidewalks, alleyways or any area that requires maintenance by street sweepers or snow plows (won't catch the blade).
